Amendment No. 1 was offered by Representatives Ulmer and Bunde: Page 6, line 19: Delete "AS 11" Insert "AS 11.41" Page 6, line 20: Delete "AS 11" Insert "AS 11.41" Representative Ulmer moved and asked unanimous consent that Amendment No. 1 be adopted. There being no objection, it was so ordered. Amendment No. 2 was offered by Representative Brown: Page 1, lines 2 - 3 (title amendment): Delete "terms of imprisonment," Insert "definite 30- to 99-year terms of imprisonment for offenders with at least three serious felony convictions; relating to" Representative Brown moved and asked unanimous consent that Amendment No. 2 be adopted. There being no objection, it was so ordered and the new title appears below: 1994-04-20 House Journal Page 3625 HB 334 CS FOR HOUSE BILL NO. 334(FIN) am "An Act relating to criminal sentencing; relating to the availability for good time credit for offenders convicted of certain first degree murders; relating to definite 30- to 99-year terms of imprisonment for offenders with at least three serious felony convictions; relating to parole, good time credit, pardon, commutation of sentence, modification or reduction of sentence, reprieve, furlough, and service of sentence at a correctional restitution center for offenders with at least three serious felony convictions; and amending Alaska Rule of Criminal Procedure 35." Representative Phillips moved and asked unanimous consent that CSHB 334(FIN) am be considered engrossed, advanced to third reading and placed on final passage.
